I began this “Venice” painting last summer shortly after finishing “The Angel in the Forest” and after spending some time in this magical Italian city a few years back, The entire city is a canvas waiting to be painted. This work is a large canvas, @ 110 x 60 inches (280 x 150centimeters). Here you see the rough sketch that will be the basis for the painting. The final work will change considerably during the painting process. I do hope you enjoy the journey with me. My goal is to post weekly progress reports but please be patient, I never know when a painting is finished, until I sign my signature.
